JOELL ORTIZ
Joell Ortiz was previously signed as a solo artist to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment. Additionally, he is a founding member of the rap super-group Slaughterhouse.
The Brooklyn native has earned much respect and critical acclaim throughout the hip-hop industry through his numerous studio albums and mixtapes. In 2012, Slaughterhouse signed to Eminem’s Shady Records and released their sophomore album, “Welcome to: Our House” which landed at #1 on the Rap and R&B charts while reaching #2 on the Billboard 200.
In 2014, Ortiz released his solo effort “House Slippers” which went on to reach #45 on the Billboard 200. In 2018 Ortiz teamed with producer Apollo Brown to release “Mona Lisa” which became one of the most critically acclaimed hip-hop albums of the year.
